Wedding in Palazzo Vecchio

Few hours after the Royal Couple tied the knot cheered up by million of people in the Uk and all over the world, another young londoner couple tied the knot in Florence in the famous Red room in Palazzo Vecchio . Just the two of them, me as  a wedding planner and translator, and two very special witnesses, closed friends of mine.

The civil ceremony were very moving despite what people might thing of a cold civil ceremony. I think when there is love and you can witness the love of two people, nothing is cold: the red room is a historical room, not important only for Florence but also for what it has represented for the country. A beautiful day ended up with a toast with cappuccino and a french croissant in another historical place f Florence, Rivoire Cafè in Piazza della Signoria.
