Trough a common friend, the bride reached me and expressed the wish to got married in Florence but with a low budget. It was hard but we made it. they got civilly married in Brasil and then got married with a catholic ceremony in the opulent church of Padri Filippini in Piazza San Firenze, Florence, few steps friom Palazzo Vecchio.
They wanted to keep it simple, the yellow was the colours, she liked sun flowers (even if they are not in season yet), she wanted two violins to play and a nice menu…they got it. The bouquet was composed by yellow roses and white freesias as well as the bouquet of the little flower girl.
The location of the lunch reception was Grand Hotel Minerva, in Piazza Santa Maria Novella.
